Hull’s homeless to get fed over the Christmas period

8 December 2017

A number of restaurants and food outlets across Hull will be open over the Christmas period to feed the homeless to give them the one gift we all take for granted.

On the 21st December between 5pm and 8pm at Hull Homeless Outreach, Microfirm Centre Wincomlee there will be a big Christmas buffet and gifts being handed out. For more information click here.

On Christmas Eve between 10am and 2pm at the back of guildhall hot food will be served. Also, O’Rileys will be open on New Years eve between 10am and 1pm to serve a cold buffet.

Nandos and Dope Burger have both decided to open on Christmas Day so it will be slightly more enjoyable for the homeless this year. Nandos Princes Quay will be open from 11am until 1pm. They also have a fundraising page to be able to give the homeless clothes and other essentials, if you would like to donate then click here.

Ryan Chaytor who works for Dope Burger said: “I personally believe Christmas is a time for giving and these people have nothing so it’s nice to one day a year give something to someone who truly values it.”
