Hull laying the Groundwork for social engagement

A Hull charity is engaging the community to revive a green space in the heart of the city writes Jools Oughtibridge.

Groundwork Hull, based at Western Library, have created a social garden for local residents to learn new skills, socialise and take pride in their local area.

Louise Cramond who is part of the team working with community partners to foster social cohesion in one of Hull’s most deprived areas.

The launch of Growing St Andrews at Western Library takes place on 26 October 2017 between 11am and 6pm.
